Morquio Syndrome Fundraiser
One of our former students, Simon H, is diagnosed with a very rare, progressive genetic disease called Morquio Syndrome, or MPS IVA. The disease, an uncommon form of dwarfism, impacts skeletal growth and causes a progressive decline in the eyes, ears, and respiratory system. A fundraiser has been set up to help raise money for a Cure MPS IVA fund for Simon and others with Morquio. Working with the Isaac Foundation we know that every penny raised will go towards promising and innovative research to help find a cure and ensure Simon, and everyone living with Morquio, has a long and healthy life! scholastic monthly book orders
1. Does your child enjoy books?
2. Each month, you can access the full catalogue of over 5000 children’s books online at www.scholastic.ca and a sample catalogue will be sent home with your child monthly.
3. During check out you will be asked for your class code: RC135643 to place your order. All orders are due by the 15th of each month and will be delivered to Arbutus Grove to be distributed.
4. All books ordered will add money into our Bonus Bank which we can use to purchase new classroom books, puzzles, and supplies.

Mabel’s labels
1. Labels from lunch containers to clothing to shoes and everything in between, Mabel’s Labels has personalized, fun, and durable labels to keep track of all of your kiddo’s things. When you support this fundraiser, 20% of all sales go to Arbutus Grove Children’s Centre.

3. Select “Arbutus Grove Children’s Centre (Victoria)”
4. Once selected, 20% of your purchase will automatically go to Arbutus Grove Children’s Centre.
Bottle drive
1. Have returnable empties at home?
2. Head to any Bottle Depot and let them know before you return that you would like to donate your return to “Arbutus Grove Children’s Centre and/or Goosey Gander Kindergarten Association”.
